Twin Falls Wheel and Brake - Twin Falls

A personal philosophy of providing customer service has been the motivation for Earl and Gretchen Scott to start and operate their own automotive repair business. The couple relocated to Twin Falls in 1998 when Gretchen was employed by the City of Twin Falls.

After spending 12 years in the automotive industry in California as a service writer for American Honda Corporation, Earl began looking for a business opportunity in Twin Falls. Earl is an ASE certified service consultant and experienced technician with seven years of service specializing in tires, brakes and suspension.

In August 2003, the couple purchased Twin Falls Wheel and Brake from Gretchen's uncle, Roger Bolton. It has been a family owned business for 28 years. The business specializes in front-end alignments, transmission services, brakes, engine repair work and general automotive maintenance.

Earl and Gretchen began working with Cindy Bond, Director of the College of Southern Idaho Small Business Development Center to evaluate the existing business, consider financing options, understand ownership, develop a business plan, create an offer of purchase and determine potential growth. With Cindy's careful guidance and mentoring, they have been successful.

"Honest service and repair" is the mission statement for Twin Falls Wheel and Brake. With a combined technician experience of over 65 years, Earl and fellow technicians Lee and Chad believe in continuing education and training to improve their skills to provide quality service to satisfied customers. "A satisfied customer is a returning customer" is their motto.
