This class introduces the novice entrepreneur to a break-even analysis. Students learn basic spreadsheet skills and formulas, while determining the financial stability of a sample business. Along with group discussions, class activities will include online tools from the HP Learning Initiative for Entrepreneurs (HP LIFE) program. While the class is open to anyone, the material is targeted to the entrepreneur who has not started their business or has little to no business experience. This is the third class in a series of four; participants are not required to attend all sessions but it is recommended.

Students will work on a detailed income statement to determine the financial stability of a sample business.
