QuickBooks Pro 2013 is a Novice through Intermediate Course for Business. This course takes you from setting up a company to the details of payroll using QuickBooks Pro 2013. Learn how to use the program then how to make it the most valuable tool in your business toolkit. The course will be 5 sessions long. Join us for the sixth in our series of lunch time business forums. Speaker is Diane Norton and the topic is to be announced. The date of the forum is May 15, 2014. The time is 11:30AM to 1:00PM and the location will be the beautiful Twin Falls Center for the Arts conference area (same building that Elevation is in). We are nearly to capacity for enrollment. If you haven't registered yet; you'll want to do that no later than Friday Jan 25th. The cost is small and covers your lunch but the returns on attending are incredibly valuable to your business or organization. Once again, this event will be held at Twin Falls Center for the Arts (next to Elevation on North Washington on the edge of Snake River Canyon) Lunch will be a delicious sandwich buffet by Catering by Karen, Kimberly ID. Diane began her tourism career in 1998 with the development of a travel and e-commerce website for the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial. During the Lewis and Clark Bicentennial, Norton’s company licensed and merchandised commemorative souvenirs for the Bicentennial and facilitated public relations and marketing programs for Lewis and Clark Bicentennial events. A native of North Dakota, Diane moved to Idaho in 2006.

This workshop combines classroom and hands-on training to assist in the compliance with federal and state requirements for paint stripping and surface coating operations in auto body shops. Operators will be trained in Spray Techniques Analysis and Research (STAR®) virtual reality program that addresses the following: • The importance of gun adjustments to achieve proper air and fluid pressure • The importance of good equipment maintenance • Calibration and use of the LaserTouch™ technology • Proper spray gun distance and orientation • Spray overlap and edge painting techniques to achieve maximum efficiency Participants completing the workshop will be provided with a certificate that demonstrates compliance with the training requirements of the federal Surface Coatings regulations.
