******This Class is Full******** This workshop, led by Amber Hinds of Road Warrior Creative, will cover how to have an effective presence in the ever-changing world of social media. We'll discuss what's new this year and anticipated changes in the months to come, how to best focus your efforts across platforms and measure results, and top tips for building a community and following that translates into sales and engaged customers. Attendees will leave with actionable advice and information about how they can start improving their social media presence right away. Learning objectives include: Understand what the social media landscape looks like in 2019 and how it may be changing in the future. Determine ways that your company or nonprofit can stand out in social media, including which under-utilized platforms/tools to start using right away. Have a clear understanding of how to best focus your social media efforts across platforms. Amber Hinds is Creative Director & CEO of Road Warrior Creative, a traveling digital marketing agency based in Georgetown, Texas that partners with food brands and social good organizations to tell their stories online. Since 2010, Amber has collaborated on and lead marketing and fundraising campaigns including social media, search engine optimization, new website design and development, email marketing, and pay-per-click advertisements for clients in a variety of industries. As Creative Director of Road Warrior Creative, Amber enjoys traveling the country in Road Warrior's mobile office, connecting with clients, speaking at conferences, and bringing a sense of adventure to online strategy and design. In addition to running Road Warrior Creative, Amber is a founder and co-organizer of the Georgetown WordPress Meetup, is a trainer for Nonprofit Learning Lab, and leads the Georgetown Search Engine Optimization & Marketing and Austin Food Marketing Meetups. She previously served as board chair of Allied Women Entrepreneurs, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit which helps women to start and grow businesses, and was a marketing instructor at the Larimer County Small Business Development Center. Amber is married to her business partner, Chris, and together they have three daughters, a dog named Pocket and a cat named Pixel. ******This Class is Full********
