Starting a new business is often overwhelming. You no doubt have many questions including what to do first and how can I ensure my business is a success? Join us for a basic overview of what it takes to be a business owner and to talk through some of these tough questions.

Presented by: Teree Taylor, Training Coordinator – North Idaho Small Business Development Center

Teree Taylor previously served as Director of Communications for the Coeur d’Alene Regional Chamber where she produced Coeur d'Alene's Community Profile magazine and helped spread the word about SBDC activities in chamber communications.

Teree started her career working in the apparel industry at a fashion buying office in downtown Los Angeles. She opened her own advertising agency in the heart of the garment district and later worked as advertising director for a large sportswear manufacturer. After moving to Idaho she took up restaurant management and event coordination. She completed the graphic design program at NIC and holds a degree in Merchandise Marketing from FIDM, Los Angeles. Teree and her son own a growing CNC Manufacturing business in Coeur d'Alene.
