Pricing is the single most powerful business tool for profitability, competitive advantage, and meeting business objectives. However, many small business owners are unsure how to price their products and services to meet their business objectives. If your pricing strategies/tactics are just based on what the competition is doing, you will never develop a true competitive advantage. Successful pricing strategies consider the value you deliver, customer wants & needs, market dynamics, and the competitive landscape. These things taken together allow you to price to meet your business goals. This course will discuss the basic requirements and strategies for effective pricing, the art of increasing prices, the pros and cons of discounting, along with effective pricing management techniques for sustained profitability and meeting long-term business objectives
