Lewiston NESHAP 6H Painter Training Workshop

Overview This workshop combines classroom and hands-on training to assist in compliance with state and federal requirements for paint stripping and surface coating operations in auto body shops. Description The training provides in-class and hands-on instruction in spray efficiency techniques. Taught by Ken Grimm from the Pacific Northwest Pollution Prevention Resource Center, participants will have an opportunity to practice skills utilizing a virtual painter training program from the Iowa Waste Reduction Center. Participants completing the workshop will be provided with a certificate that demonstrates compliance with the training requirements of the federal Surface Coating regulations.
