Basics of Finance II-HP LIFE (Learning Initiative for Entrepreneurs)

This class introduces the novice entrepreneur to the difference between balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analysis. Students will work on a detailed income statement to determine the financial stability of a sample business. Along with group discussions, class activities will include online tools from the HP Learning Initiative for Entrepreneurs (HP LIFE) program. While the class is open to anyone, the material is targeted to the entrepreneur who has not started their business or has little to no business experience. This is the capstone class in a series of four; participants are not required to attend all sessions but it is recommended.
