Working Wednesday: Choosing a Legal Structure for your Business
You are ready to get out there and do business. With all of the decisions you face, don’t overlook the importance of selecting the right legal structure for your business. We invite you to a crash course on the fundamentals of business entity selection. Topics covered will include the types of available business entities, the characteristics of each and their relative strengths and weaknesses, factors you should consider in your selection and how each is formed and maintained. Led by a licensed attorney, this will be an interactive session with the opportunity for discussion. You will leave with practical information to aid you in your decision (and a really cool chart). G. Connie Runia is an attorney licensed in Oregon and Idaho. She earned her JD from Willamette University College of Law in 1986 and began her practice in Oregon with a large regional law firm with focus on business, banking, corporate finance and securities.
