Calling all Startups, Small Technology Firms and Innovators: America's Largest Seed Fund is Coming to Idaho! The SBIR Road Tour is coming to Boise, ID on May 2nd to convey the non-dilutive technology funding opportunity provided through the Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs. Individual program managers from the 11 participating agencies, representing $2.5 billion in early stage funding, will participate in a one-day event alongside technology entrepreneurs and innovation supporters from across Idaho. If you're an innovator, entrepreneur, researcher or small technology firm, don't miss this opportunity to learn how to access $2.5B in early stage technology funding, and meet 1-on-1 with funding decision makers. SBIR Agencies Funding Priorities Overviews and Panels • How to use SBIR to Seed Fund your Innovative Ideas • Business with the Warfighter: Technology Alignment, Opportunities and Funding (Defense-focused) • Inside the Head of an Evaluator: Lessons Learned and Common Mistakes Engaging your local Innovation Ecosystem: • How to access local and state resources available to innovators, researchers and technology entrepreneurs. • Idaho's SBIR Phase 0 Program, which reimburses small businesses for costs associated with SBIR applications. • Local incubators and startup organizations such as Trailhead, New Ventures Lab and the Idaho Tech Council. About the SBIR: The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) and Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs provide approximately $2.5 billion annually in non-dilutive early-stage technology funding to small businesses. The SBIR Road Tour is an opportunity for tech startups, innovators, entrepreneurs, and researchers to learn how to access this funding, meet one-on-one with decision makers, and connect with local state innovation ecosystem members.
