Did you know ... "Profiles and Business Pages are NOT the same"! In this second class in our series of beginning Facebook seminars; we'll be learning how to create a presence on Facebook for your business. You may have noticed some businesses using their personal profiles as their business page. Unfortunately, this is against Facebook's policy and you risk the possibility of Facebook removing your profile (with all your friends, pictures and other data) completely. The proper way to promote your business is to create a Facebook "Business Page" that is linked to your Personal Profile. In this class, participants will learn how to market their business for free using Facebook Business pages. Other topics addressed will be: the difference between personal and business pages, advantages to Facebook business pages, how pages work, creating a page, posting effectively, getting the word out, monitoring your page, linking pages and other Facebook related resources. No walk-in registrations please.
