NxLeveL for Existing Businesses also referred to as the “Entrepreneur Course” is a 12 session, 36 hour course designed for entrepreneurs who want to expand an existing business and need the skills to make it grow. It’s been proven that the entrepreneur who plans is the entrepreneur who succeeds. For this reason, participants develop a comprehensive business plan during the course to act as the road map for future growth. Overview of program: 1/11 Introduction, Overview & Entrepreneurship - Guest Speaker: TBA 1/13 Planning & Research: Entrepreneurial Essentials - Guest Speaker: Bryan Matsuoka, Director SBDC 1/18 Organizational Matters: Management & Legal Structure - Guest Speaker: TBA 1/20 Marketing Behind the Scenes: Analysis & Understanding - Guest Speaker on Research: TBA 1/23 Marketing on Stage: Strategies, Tactics & Implementation - Guest Speaker on Marketing: TBA 1/27 Financial Overview: Books, Records & Controls - Guest Speaker: TBA 1/30 Managing Your Money: Financial Planning, Budgets & Assumptions - Guest Speaker: TBA 2/3 Managing Your Money: Understanding & Using Your Financial Statements - Guest Speaker: TBA 2/8 Managing Your Money: Developing & Using Cash Flow Projections - Guest Speaker: TBA 2/10 Financing Your Business: Alternative Sources of Money - Guest Speaker: TBA 2/13 Green Business/Dealmaking Process: Negotiating in the Real World - Guest Speaker: TBA 2/17 Your Business Future: Managing Growth & Plan Completion - Guest Speaker: TBA Fee is $425 per business - additional business associates related to the original business may attend for $50 each. If you will need an additional set of books beyond the first set of books will cost $100 for each additional member. Class will be held in CSI's Evergreen Bldg Room C93 (Computer lab at the end of the SIDC Hallway)
