Women's Business Sympoium 2016

The Small Business Development Center, the ISU College of Business, Idaho Central Credit Union and Edward Jones invite all women to “Knock It Out of the Park!” at the 2016 Women’s Business Symposium. Women’s contributions to the local economy are significant and this symposium offers low-cost networking and career development for all working women. The 2016 Symposium has two tracks. The career track has an extended session on preparing for and practicing salary negotiation and a workshop on career transitions. The entrepreneurship track will focus on starting and running a small business with information on financial management, web marketing and advice from women who have started their own businesses. In addition to great speakers, there are vendors, giveaways, lunch and plenty of time dedicated specifically to networking and building your team. And of course there will be chocolate for the 7th inning stretch.

Speaker(s): The key note address will be from Lisa Keung, a nationally acclaimed speaker and co-author of Amazon 5-star book “Picture Your Prosperity: Smart Money Moves to Turn Your Vision Into Reality.” Lisa is a national speaker and the Director of Creative Campaigns for Invesco. Her practice-building programs include the “Your Prosperity Picture” workshop for women investors, “The New Retirementality,” and “T.E.A.M. Dynamics.”
