2018
Thu 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM

The Idaho Small Business Development Center, in conjunction with Idaho National Laboratory and the Idaho Department of Commerce, will bring the story of non-dilutive funding opportunities across Idaho as part of the 2018 Idaho SBIR Road Tour. Building upon the success last year's inaugural Idaho SBIR Road, this year's event will feature subject experts, special speakers, 1-on-1 coaching and local guests. The Fort Hall event will be the first stop on the 2018 tour, with additional events in Challis, Sandpoint, Moscow, Rexburg, Ketchum, Nampa and Boise. If you’re an innovator, tech entrepreneur, researcher or small technology firm, don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to access $2.5B in early stage technology funding through the SBIR and STTR programs and nearly $1M in commercialization grants to Idaho companies through the Idaho Global Entrepreneurial Mission (IGEM). Join us in the 9am-10am hour, before the event begins, to speak with Agency Representatives, business coaches and experts, and special speakers. Email davemcewen@boisestate.edu for more information or to request an appointment. Special Speakers for this event include: Dr. Douglas Deason, Director of SBIR Programs for the United States Missile Defense Agency Rebecca Fritchman, Patent Examiner, United States Patent and Trademark Office TBD, Office of Technology Transfer, Idaho State University Gary Moore, Program Manager, Idaho Procurement Technical Assistance Center Ann Joslin, State Librarian, Idaho Commission for Libraries Ann Swanson, Regional Director, Idaho Small Business Development Center The cost of this $50 event has been covered by a generous donation/sponsorship from our friends at the Idaho Department of Commerce and Idaho National Laboratory.
